I can...I love getting late replies, no worries! :)

I can understand people really liking this production: now, after over a year, I still remember the visuals very clearly – so it was a very memorable experience for me too. I definitely don't regret going to see it, even though all parts weren't for my tastes.

And thank you so much!Siiri Liitiähttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04693988891671030845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2775001501996608627.post-85008505474142420282013-01-24T04:35:26.775+02:002013-01-24T04:35:26.775+02:00A reply some hundred years late: "When he and...A reply some hundred years late: "When he and Glenn Daniel Nilsson were onstage at the same time during the barricade scenes, I really didn't know who to watch!" I agree. Nilsson and Johanson were absolutely fantastic and I will never forget them. I absolutely adored Les Misérables in Malmö, so I disagree with you on some points (although I wasn't very fond of Harryson's Thenardier either) but I really enjoyed reading this review. Very well-written.Tittihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15372414320986910100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2775001501996608627.post-71795030894012033592011-11-07T14:50:22.771+02:002011-11-07T14:50:22.771+02:00Argh, I hate when it does that!!
Heh, maybe I'...Argh, I hate when it does that!!

Heh, maybe I'm weird, since I admitted to myself (and then very loudly to Sara and Hilkka) I don't really care for this right by intermission... Maybe it's to do with the ice hockey thing I mentioned - I was just glad Åbo Svenska Teater's Les Mis remains the most amazing Les Mis in the Nordic countries... ;)
But I actually still think a modernisation of Les Mis could work somehow - if only every actor was as amazing as Johanson here, then this could be so much better!

And no problem! :)Siiri Liitiähttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04693988891671030845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2775001501996608627.post-75691677332791104392011-11-07T00:24:56.045+02:002011-11-07T00:24:56.045+02:00CURSE THIS THING! I just wrote a long-ass reply an...CURSE THIS THING! I just wrote a long-ass reply and it didn't go through! Anyway, I was saying:

I was really relived after I read the part about the actors, because as you know it's almost exactly what I think! I seriously luahged out loud reading that about Peter Harrysona dn Matt Lucas, 'But he, at the very least, played it for something'. SO TRUE!

You know what, to be honest I actually disliked this production ALOT the first time seeing it, but I never really admitted it to myself because I love the general musical (and the book) so much. So I really know what you mean with, 'for the first time, left a theatre after seeing Les Mis without smiling.' yes, I've only seen the WE one, but each time I've seen it I've always been esctatic afterwards because it is THAT good.

(btw, thanks for linking to my review! I'm honoured!)Tiffanyhttp://stuffbytiffany.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
